What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper position at Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab?
Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab (MJHR) is actively looking for dedicated individuals to join our Environmental Services / Housekeeping team.
Work Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m., 4/2 rotating schedule (4 days on, 2 days off) Flexibility to work weekends needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and disinfecting resident and patient rooms
- Cleaning common areas and offices
- Removing trash and paper from inside the facility
- Ensuring work / cleaning schedules are followed, while maintaining a safe and secure environment for all staff, resident, and guests
- Completing routine cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using established methods
- Cleaning and disinfecting fixtures, wet moping, and other similar duties
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS/SPECIFICATIONS/EDUCATION: Prior experience in housekeeping in the equivalent in a health care and/or hospitality environment preferred. Must have a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working in and around the senior community.
