Memphis Jewish Home & Rehab (MJHR) is actively looking for dedicated individuals to join our Dining Services team.
MJHR offers exceptional long-term care and rehabilitation services in our 160-bed, Cordova based facility.
Title: Dishwasher/Porter
Work Hours: 12 p.m. - 8 p.m., Modified 4/2 rotating schedule (4 days on, 2 days off) Flexibility to work weekends needed.
Responsibilities include:
- Ability to operate a commercial dishwashing machine safely.
- Wash various kitchen items by hand when necessary.
- Cleans cooking equipment daily or as needed.
- Must to follow sanitation and safety policies at all times including maintaining temperature logs for dish machines and sanitizer logs for sinks.
- Transports Rooms Trays to/from dining areas and sanitizes tray carts
- Commitment to all around cleanliness, including dishwashing and dish storage areas
Qualifications and Education:
Prior experience in a health care and/or hospitality environment preferred. Must have a high level of attention to detail and enjoy working in and around the senior community.
