What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clerk, Routes and Files position at Memphis Light, Gas and Water Division?

Schedule/dispatch routes from maintenance, set tickets and other appropriate documents manually and/or utilizing computer input output equipment perform typing, filing and recordkeeping; collect, maintain and provide equipment status information.
Qualification Requirements:
To perform the Clerk, Routes and Files role, you must:
- Pass Division's typing test of 45 w.p.m.
- Successfully complete Customer Contact Test
- Successfully complete Placement Performance Exercises
Physical Working Conditions:
Works in office/shop under good conditions. Subject to hazards of dirt and dust: and physical activities such as walking, standing, kneeling, bending and reaching; climbing stairs.
