The position involves the leaders, planning, and evaluation of the project. The project’s primary mission is to increase access to specialty care for West TN’s uninsured population.Duties and responsibilities : The Director, Project Access West Tennessee is responsible for and is tasked with the duties as follows : Physician / Volunteer Relationship ManagementRecruit physician volunteers utilizing multiple channels including in-person recruitment, phone, digital, social media and othersCollaborate with Memphis Medical Society employees to market the program, recruit physicians, and create a strategic plan.Collaborate with other Project Access programs in the state regularly and nationally as needed.Collaborate with other community stakeholders who are passionate about care for the uninsured.Create community strategies that grow access without duplication.Maintain physician relationships through relationship cultivation and professional agreements.Maintain updated Business Associate Agreements. Personally responsible for the outreach including mailings, faxes, and phone calls to follow-up.Leadership and ManagementOnboards all volunteers with instructions, training, and HIPAA complianceServe as subject matter expert to answer questions and concerns of stakeholdersLeads care coordination for patients and gives clear direction to coordinatorsOversees data integrity with a focus on patient and provider accuracyCarries out other responsibilities as may be from time to time delegated by the CEOQualifications : Qualifications include : Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year accredited institutionLicensed RN strongly preferredMinimum 3 years’ experience in care delivery, case management, and / or care coordinationExcellent written and verbal communications skillsRelational database management skillsWorking conditions : This position is grant-funded. This job requires some local and regional travel. This job also requires some night and weekend activities.
