Memphis Pool, the Mid-South leader in the swimming pool industry, is seeking day shift Warehouse Staff. Memphis Pool has been in business since 1952 and is family owned and operated. The corporate operation includes divisions for four retail stores, repair service, weekly maintenance, new construction, and renovation of commercial and residential projects.

Skills/Qualifications: Must be detail oriented and possess and utilize skills consistent with time management, inventory control, documentation, equipment maintenance, data entry and overall dependability
Responsibilities and requirements include:
- Receiving, labeling, moving, checking and storing incoming goods
- Receive shipments, log into inventory, be able to maintain inventory accuracy
- Pulling, filling, packing and setting up orders for delivery and pickup
- Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading trucks
- Recognize and understand product numbers and alpha/numeric codes
- Must understand basic inventory, warehousing and documentation procedures
- Occasionally deliver stock to shops, trucks and retail outlets
- Lift/carry maneuver heavy material or equipment (up to 100 pounds)
- Must have OSHA guidelines knowledge
- Ability to move and organize stock efficiently
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Team player who works productively with a wide range of people
- Manages time effectively and adapts quickly to changing priorities
- Effective listening, verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multi-task
- Basic computer/keyboarding/scanning skills
- Stand/walk for the duration of work hours
- Assist in keeping facility clean, neat safe and operating efficiently
- Must be able to tolerate heat/cold given the season
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Follow company policies and procedures
- Directly reports to Warehouse Manager
