What are the responsibilities and job description for the Promo Team Member position at Memphis Redbirds?

Position Summary:
A member of the Promo Team for the Memphis Redbirds is a game day position that serves as a highly personable and energetic face of the organization. The Promo Team’s primary goal is to make all guest experiences at AutoZone Park as enjoyable as possible. All Promo Team members should be willing to go above and beyond for our fans while always having a smile on their face.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform as Promotional Team member in front of large crowds at Memphis Redbirds’ home games
· Personally interact with Redbirds’ fans with high energy and enthusiasm
· Excellent customer service while maintaining the high standards and professionalism already set by the Memphis Redbirds
· Attend and contribute to pre-production meetings each game
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
· Distribute promotional items and other giveaways that are designed to help increase attendance and fan spirit
· Maintain situational awareness during the entire game and inning breaks
· Follow leads from In-Stadium Entertainment Manager and Director of Marketing
· Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
· Prior experience with sports, events or live production preferred
· Flexibility to work nights, weekends and holidays
· Ability to work the entire event including pre- and postgame activities
· General understanding of the game of baseball
· Works well in fast-paced/live events, high-pressure situations
