Purpose and Scope
Assists with receiving, storing, and distributing materials and equipment to District maintenance personnel. The position is also responsible for performing minor equipment repairs and maintaining routine records as required. The position works under direct supervision according to set procedures.Essential Job Functions
1.Receives and checks incoming materials and equipment for correctness of invoices, bills of lading and requisitions.2.Loads and unloads stock; organizes stock in warehouse.3.Inspects equipment to ensure proper working condition and safety; performs minor repairs as needed.4.Reports all discrepancies in supplies and materials to appropriate supervisor.5.Assists in conducting continuing inventory of materials and equipment.6.Operates riding jack and other warehouse equipment safely.7.Maintains accurate records of materials being shipped or distributed.8.Performs routine clerical tasks as required, including but not limited to completing forms and records, copying documents, answering the telephone.9.Attends training and meetings as required to maintain and enhance job knowledge and skills. 10.Required to deliver goods to District schools if needed during peak times or prolonged employee absences. 11.Performs other related duties as assigned or directed.Minimum Qualifications
Requires a High School diploma or GED. Requires a good driving record on most current MVR.
