SUMMARY:
The Sr. Analyst Application Support is responsible for leading, supporting, and implementing applications at MEMS and MEPUSA, with a focus on Microsoft Power Platform tools such as SharePoint, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI. Key responsibilities include overseeing user onboarding and offboarding, account management, equipment support, and user service. The role also involves leading automation opportunities, including designing, troubleshooting, and implementing workflows to improve efficiency across various business departments and processes. Collaboration with IT staff and consultants is essential to enhance workflow efficiency, manage projects, troubleshoot issues, and provide exceptional customer service. Proficiency in Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI, SQL, and SharePoint Online is required, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supporting all business applications, including regular, after-hours, and weekend support as needed. The detailed responsibilities include:
- User support
- Liaison between users and vendors
- Overseeing and directing rollout of client applications including documentation, testing, diagnosis, resolution of problems, monitoring, alerting, and future enhancements
- Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends and drive data-driven decisions
- Developing and optimizing provisioning, patching, and upgrade processes
- Designing and automating custom reports to improve operational efficiency
- Enhancing application system performance through advanced tuning and monitoring
- Owning the full life cycle of applications, from selection, implementation, and execution to continuous improvement and decommissioning.
- Leading and managing application-related projects according to the industrys best practices and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
- Establishing governance, policies, and procedures to optimize application utilization, minimize operational costs, and ensure compliance with business and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the highest level of escalation, proactively resolving complex production issues and providing strategic analysis and recommendations to management.
- Developing and maintaining strong vendor relationships, negotiating service agreements, and ensuring vendor performance aligns with business objectives.
- Driving innovation and continuous improvement by identifying emerging technologies and recommending enhancements to the application portfolio.

REQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:
- Advanced communication skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication, with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to lead meetings, present findings and recommendations to leadership, and draft strategic documentation.
- Expertise in third-party software: Extensive experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate, as well as deep knowledge of how to optimize and customize these tools to enhance business processes and workflows.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications including Office products, especially Excel and SQL.
- Advanced ability to design, implement, and optimize BI tools and cloud-based applications, with a focus on data integration.
- The ability to effectively and quickly demonstrate proficiency in adoption and support of third-party software licensed to the Company such as Allegro Horizon ETRM, Document Intelligence, Enverus Products, Quorum, Aucerna Execute, zdSCADA, and Spotfire.
- Understanding of the concepts behind IT controls, Document & Contract Lifecycle Management, Automation and Audit.
- Understanding of the basic commercial concepts behind Oil and Gas Accounting, Lease Management, and gas and power trading is a plus.
- Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- A bachelors degree in computer science, management information systems, or equivalent related work experience is required.
- At least 5 years of working experience with information systems and applications or equivalent project management-related experience.
- 3 years of working experience with information systems and applications in the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills; ability to provide reliable and informative project status to supervisors and users; excellent organizational, analytical, as well as oral and written communication skills; must have excellent phone support, customer service, communication skills.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:
- Fluent verbal and written skills in English.
LICENSES, CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS:
- Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Fundamentals (PL-900) is a plus.
- Microsoft Certified: Power Automate RPA Developer Associate (PL-500) is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification with IT focused projects is a plus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
This job operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and filing cabinets. Physical demands include:
- Prolonged periods of sitting and may need to routinely move around to communicate with different groups
- Occasionally work late to meet business demands and to facilitate meetings with Tokyo office
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
- Must have a valid DL.
