Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our healthcare team. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will play a crucial role in the delivery of respiratory care to patients with various conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to administer respiratory therapy and life support to patients according to individualized plans of care. You will also conduct diagnostic tests and assessments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disorders.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer respiratory therapy and life support to patients according to individualized plans of care.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and assessments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Certifications: Current Arkansas Respiratory License - CRTT, RRT, or RRT eligible; BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Five years' hospital experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
