Responsibilities
- Deliver respiratory therapy and life support to patients according to individualized plans of care.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and assessments to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiopulmonary disorders.
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement effective treatment plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and staff education.
Requirements
- Education: Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Respiratory Therapy.
- Certifications: Current Arkansas Respiratory License - CRTT, RRT, or RRT eligible; BLS (CPR) certification required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience: Five years' hospital experience preferred.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
