Job Description
As a member of the production team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our facilities. Your primary responsibilities will include maintaining high-quality standards and meeting guest expectations.
Forklift Positions
- Loading materials in the warehouse, yard, and onto outgoing trucks.
- Manual counting and scanning of units.
- Scanning products into the computer system and using the computer to pick orders.
Machine Operation Positions
- Learning machine controls to ensure proper product assembly or production.
- Using pneumatic guns, automatic banders, and applying ID labels.
- Performing corrective actions to maintain quality products.
- Communicating with incoming shifts about issues and necessary information regarding facility operations.
- Taking proactive measures to report potential equipment problems to management.
- Performing various types of manual labor as required by the plant.
- Assembling doors, trusses, kits, and other items based on plant needs.
- Operating presses, pneumatic guns, and other machines.
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be able to work effectively with others, and possess a strong work ethic. Forklift positions require some bending, twisting, reaching, and lifting up to 75 pounds. Previous forklift training is preferred but not required. Machine operation positions involve continuous standing with infrequent lifting and require previous production/manufacturing/pneumatic tool experience. Assembly positions also involve continuous standing with infrequent lifting and require flexibility and stamina. A high school diploma/GED is preferred, and candidates must be at least 18 years old.
