Job Description
Work Environment: Temperature changes with the seasons
Hours/Shifts: 8 - 10 hour shifts with some mandatory weekends
Pay: Starting at $21.05/hr. plus shift premium and weekend premium
Cross Docks is the practice in logistics of unloading materials from an incoming semi trailer as well as other departments onto an outbound semi trailer with little to no storage in between. The cross dock has different work assignments that can change from day to day. If you like working in a fast-paced work environment and learning new things, the cross dock can offer that and more!
Team Members will use forklifts, automated tugs and manual tugs to receive and ship orders to our stores. Manual work including breakdown freight, repalletizing product, wrapping pallets, labeling pallets, and housekeeping projects are included. Responsibilities include completing daily assignments in a safe and timely manner while meeting department productivity and accuracy standards. Being able to work alone or in a group with a sense of urgency to meet our stores/guest needs. Also, ensuring all special orders get received in/shipped out in a timely manner free of damage and shipped accurately. Workers also need to maintain a safe and clean work area.
Skills/Requirements
Forklift/production experience is preferred, but not required.
In the cross dock, we provide all necessary tools and training to become an expert in all departments no matter your background or previous experience.
