What are the responsibilities and job description for the Manager, Supply Chain Logistics position at Menarini Stemline?
We are seeking a highly organized supply chain professional, who works with a sense of urgency and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership. The Manager, Supply Chain Logistics will coordinate shipments from our contract packagers to our global distribution centers, from our distributors to customers, and sample shipments to laboratories. They will collaborate closely with internal and external teams including Quality Assurance, Contract Packagers, 3PLs, and Carriers. This person must be able to consistently deliver results, under remote supervision.
Please note--this position is classified as a corporate office position. In accordance with the New York employer convenience rule, Stemline will withhold New York state income taxes for all corporate office employees, regardless of whether these employees work in New York or remotely.
Responsibilities
- Arrange Supply Chain shipments to third party global depots, customers, CMOs and laboratories and complete movement transactions in SAP. Prepare international shipping documentation and coordinate shipments with couriers
- Conduct temperature shipping studies for all Menarini Stemline temperature sensitive products.
- Collect temperature data from couriers and vendors
- Manage third-party sample storage vendors
- Prepare inventory reconciliation reports for partners within the domestic and international supply chains.
- Coordinate purchase requisitions, coordinating inventory movements and sharing of documentation with service providers, to ensure timely delivery of services/products.
- Review and perform analysis on industry guidance’s for constant improvement/departmental efficiencies.
- Document process flows, work instructions and SOPs based on verbal input. Align with management and cross functional teams to understand project timelines and prioritize accordingly.
- Establish and track metrics to drive continuous improvement. Perform “ad hoc” analysis and reporting, as required.
- Maintain GMP training compliance.
Qualifications
- Must have an Associate's/Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or a related experience.
- Must be competent in Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
- Must have demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and operate efficiently in matrixed teams.
- Experience with SAP & Smartsheet preferred.
- Experience working in a highly regulated industry preferred
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong sense of ownership and superior organization skills.
- Must have proven experience of delivering results in a virtual work environment.
