About The Opportunity
The Forklift Driver is responsible for loading and unloading trailers, keeping machine centers stocked at all times, completing accurate paperwork and correspondence related to shipping and receiving of product, and maintaining a neat and orderly warehouse. This person must possess strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.Pay: $22.42 per hour with a $0.70 shift differential for hours worked on 3rd shift
Essential Functions:
- Load and unload trailers—bill as needed
- Supply machine centers with stock
- Remove/record waste from machine centers
- Organize warehouse: scan units using RF technology and put into correct warehouse area
- Prepare freight for outbound shipments
- Fill in for baler/bander responsibility as needed
- Remove/weigh scrap bales
- Change propane tanks on forklift as needed
- Operate electric charging station
- Perform daily forklift inspections at each shift
- Weekly PM’s (blow out entire forklift)
- Perform other duties as assigned by management/supervisors
Work Experience:
- Previous production FL driving experience
- Loading and unloading experience
- At least 1 year of FL driving experience
