About The Opportunity

Responsible for the coordination and completion of projects. Oversees all aspects of projects. Sets deadlines, assigns responsibilities, and monitors and summarizes progress of project. Prepares reports for upper management regarding status of project.

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor forecasts and develops capacity attainment plan based on capabilities and future projected customer demand
• Execute material resource planning (MRP) to ensure materials and components are available to generate the master production schedule
• Ensures timely order entry and proactively manages order timelines for assigned account(s)
• Proactively monitors open orders to advise key stakeholders of possible lead time challenges
• Monitors product inventory to assure availability for production and/or distribution to customer; works with management to disposition aging inventory
• Prepare and review required business reports regularly for key stakeholders
• Analyze customer and production requirements to maximize space utilization
• Collaborate with key stakeholders in accordance with standard operating procedures to ensure key performance indicators achieved
• Collect, monitor and analyze data to control capacity risks, maintain site efficiencies and assure on-time delivery
• Support continuous improvement initiatives for production planning process and information flow
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Education & Experience

• High school degree required, bachelor’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience required
• Systems knowledge preferred, not limited to (QT9, DRP, Supplier net, SharePoint, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Fusion)
  
  

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
• Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
• Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
• Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
• Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
• Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
• Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting
  
  

The expected salary range for this position is $65,000-$82,000 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
