Position Summary
Assist retail customers in person, over phone or through email; assess and meet our customers’ needs in a way that is profitable for Menchey Music Service; adhere to company policy, while providing excellent customer service.
Essential Job Functions

- Customer Service
- Greet all customers upon entering the store all of the time
- Fulfill customer’s needs as thoroughly as possible within the company’s policy guidelines
- Timely resolution of customer issues; request manager’s help when necessary
- Instrument Rentals and Sales
- Encourage rental or sale of instruments to customers
- Ensure all instruments sales done within profit margin guidelines
- Complete rental/exchange contracts fully following all company policies
- Balance cash drawers accurately
- Store Maintenance
- Assist manager in keeping store organized and clean
- Assist manager with merchandising of store
- Open and close store per defined procedures
- Training
- Take part in all training/assessment possibilities as presented by company and assigned by manager
- Continually increase product knowledge to increase sales and customer satisfaction
- Other
- Follow any other job-related instructions and perform other job-related duties as requested by their supervisor
COMPENSATION
For this position, the compensation range will be approx. $16 per hour. Total compensation will include base compensation plus commissions, paid out monthly.

Education and Experience
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to play at least 1 musical instrument
- General knowledge of musical instruments and written music
