MEND Psychiatry is seeking a full-time Licensed Social Worker to join our growing team. This new role will play an integral part in our outpatient program, providing mental health treatment for clients and collaborating across a multidisciplinary team to ensure holistic client care.

Responsibilities

As a Licensed Social Worker, you will play a key role in supporting clients through therapeutic interventions and care coordination. Your responsibilities will include :

Conducting client intake assessments and contributing to the development of treatment plans.
Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families.
Offering crisis intervention and ongoing emotional support to clients.
Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, including Psychiatric NP’s, MAT NP’s, Family NP’s, and case managers to ensure seamless client outcomes.
Educating clients on mental health strategies, wellness practices, and available community resources.
Maintaining detailed and accurate records in compliance with ethical, professional, and legal standards.
Advocating for clients' needs while fostering empowerment and self-sufficiency.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following requirements :

Valid LSW license issued by the State of Ohio.

Master's degree in Social Work or a related field.

Preferred : Licensed Clinical Social Work (LCSW) state licensure for Ohio.

Experience in a mental health and / or substance use disorder setting (internship or work experience).

Knowledge of therapeutic methods, crisis intervention, and care planning.

Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.

A commitment to upholding ethical standards and collaborating effectively within a team.

Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, based on experience in outpatient substance use or mental health treatment settings. In addition, we provide the following benefits :

120 hours annual paid vacation.

40 hours of annual sick or personal time.

401k with 4% company match on employee contributions.

Weekends off and paid holidays.

750 annual continuing education credit (CEs, conferences, certifications).

HRSA STAR LRP Approved Site – Employees eligible to apply for STAR LRP student loan forgiveness of up to $250,000.

Quarterly performance incentive : 2.5% of annual base salary for meeting RVU and quality performance metrics.
