Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Transport Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers and goods to various locations while providing excellent customer service. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate various types of vehicles, including limousines, school buses, delivery vans, and shuttles.
- Ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of passengers at designated locations.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the journey.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle before, during, and after each trip.
- Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing passenger inquiries and concerns in a friendly manner.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when loading or unloading goods or assisting passengers with luggage.
- Keep accurate records of trips taken, mileage, and any incidents that occur during transport.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience in non emergency medical transportation preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with passengers.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed for transporting goods or assisting passengers.
- Excellent time management skills with a commitment to punctuality.
- Ability to maintain composure in stressful situations while ensuring passenger safety.
- Previous experience as a van driver or in a similar transport role is a plus.
- Bilingual - Hablamos español.
