Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Chaplain to provide spiritual support and guidance to individuals in hospices and their families. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in Christian counseling and bereavement support. This role requires a commitment to serving others through mentoring, education, and public speaking, ensuring that individuals receive the emotional and spiritual care they need during challenging times.
Duties
- Provide one-on-one Christian counseling to individuals facing personal challenges or crises.
- Offer bereavement support to families and individuals coping with loss.
- Conduct crisis intervention sessions to assist those in immediate need of emotional support.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to integrate spiritual care into patient treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate records of counseling sessions and spiritual care provided.
Experience
- Proven experience in Christian counseling or a related field is preferred.
- Experience providing hospice care or working with terminally ill patients.
- Excellent speaking skills with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to write effectively for reports, educational materials, and presentations.
- A background in mentoring individuals or groups is highly desirable.
