Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Social Worker to join our team. This role involves working closely with clients in various settings, including inpatient facilities, clinics, and senior care environments. The Social Worker will provide support through counseling, advocacy, and resource coordination to enhance the well-being of clients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments to determine clients' needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Provide mental health counseling and support to clients dealing with various issues, including addiction and behavioral challenges.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients in inpatient settings.
- Engage in clinical research to stay updated on best practices in social work and mental health.
- Offer guidance and support to geriatric clients and their families regarding senior care options.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions focused on behavioral therapy techniques.
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to necessary resources within the community.
- Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes.
- Attend IDG meetings.
Qualifications
- A degree in Social Work (BSW or MSW) from an accredited institution is required.
- Relevant experience in special education, mental health counseling, or clinical counseling is preferred.
- Familiarity with geriatrics and senior care services is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour
