We are currently seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Dental Office Coordinator to join our exceptional team and help keep our office running smoothly and efficiently.
Position Summary:
The Dental Office Coordinator is a key member of our administrative team responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of front office duties, managing patient benefits and accounts receivable, and supporting overall practice efficiency. This role requires someone who is organized, dependable, and takes initiative—someone who’s always looking for ways to improve systems and support the success of the team.
Must Have:
- Critical Thinking & Initiative – You take ownership and bring solutions, not just problems. “See a need, fill a need” is your mindset.
- Project Management – Able to prioritize, execute, and follow through on tasks and longer-term projects.
- Dental Benefits & AR Management – Strong knowledge of dental coding, insurance, benefits coordination, and accounts receivable processes.
- Tech-Savvy – Proficient in Microsoft Office with the ability to create and update Excel spreadsheets.
- Reliable Presence – Dependable attendance Monday–Thursday 7:30 AM–5:30 PM, with flexibility for occasional evening and Friday meetings.
- People Skills – Excellent communication and customer service abilities; you know how to keep patients and coworkers smiling.
- Dental Experience – At least 3 years working in a dental setting with a solid understanding of front office workflows.
- Team Player – Willing to roll up your sleeves and help wherever needed to support the team and promote the success of the practice.
Nice to have:
- Experience using Dentrix software
- Knowledge of Accounts Payable processes
