We are a cross-functional team of frontend, backend, and mobile engineers that work across a variety of platforms. As an Android engineer, you’ll be directly responsible for building core product features, collecting and evaluating metrics that determine their impact on the business, and raising the bar for our app’s quality. Our engineers own the full development and release cycle and are empowered to make any technical or process changes to improve the velocity of the team. We strive to build systems that focus on scale, usability, and performance. Our team is passionate about new technology, and we constantly seek out the best tools we need to succeed.
TheEnvoy Mobile app is a rapidly expanding product suite, and our tech stack has been shaped by this environment. The codebase is written in 100% Kotlin, uses modern Android components, and adapts contemporary architecture practices. Much of the app is reinforced by extensive unit testing to ensure the high quality and stability of the codebase.
This is a hybrid position that requires at least 3 days a week (Tuesday - Thursday) in our San Francisco HQ.

Compensation description
Envoy's compensation package includes market competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and great benefits. If you are located in the San Francisco Bay Area , our expected cash compensation for this role is $140K-$160K (Annually). Final offers may vary within the range provided based on experience, expertise, and other factors.
