This role includes overseeing project teams serving customers in the education industry. This position requires experience in deploying technical solutions and projects to include enterprise application deployment and maintenance, voice and network infrastructure, proactive server maintenance and patch management. It is the responsibility of the Infrastructure Team to be proactive in project creation, change and knowledge management, systems management and closing out projects.
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position will supervise members of the Infrastructure Team including, but not limited to, network and systems engineers, network and systems admins, and the technical project manager.

Duties And Responsibilities
- Lead a team of systems and network engineers assuming responsibility for systems and platforms upgrades, updates patches, and appropriate maintenance ensuring compliance to all SLA’s, Security Protocols and dependencies.
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
- Provide pro-active communications with all key stakeholders, both internally and externally ensuring transparency and conflict avoidance.
- Create standards, processes and procedures for all systems deemed the responsibility of the Maintenance Team.
- Manage portfolio of projects to include external vendor relationships, communications, planning, resources, budget, change management, risks, and escalations.
- Provide clear, concise communications, across multiple channels to all teams and stakeholders, external and internal.
- Develop and deliver progress/status reports (project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks, and issues), proposals, requirements documentation and presentations to leadership, project teams, business owners and key stakeholders.
- Ensure successful project delivery, addressing changes during all project phases.
- Prepare estimates and detailed project plans for all phases of each project.
- Coordinate and lead adequate resources (team and technical) to achieve project objectives in planned timeframes.
- Evolve infrastructure project management processes; refine templates, policies and tools to ensure growth and improvement of team and infrastructure quality.
- Act as an internal quality control check for the project at hand.
- Ensure Statements of Work include the proper specifications for all aspects of work to be completed.
- Responsible for quality control for all Infrastructure projects. Monitor and track issues, conflicts, dependencies, and critical path deliverables.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.

- 5 years of Information Technology industry experience including Systems Engineer/Network Engineer roles, preferably in a
- 2 years of strategic team and/or project management experience.
- Experience supporting multi-location environments in education preferred.
- Experience in proactive planning/scheduling for systems maintenance and support.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a focus on rapport-building, conflict management and resolution skills.
- Strong track record of delivering results on a high performing team.
