What are the responsibilities and job description for the Housekeeper - Days (off Thurs. & Fri.) position at Menninger?
Key Functions
Clean patient living units and other campus buildings to meet Menninger standards and those of governmental and regulatory agencies per department guidelines.
- Manage daily linen supply per department guidelines
- Maintain equipment and report items needing repair per department guidelines
- Assure continuity of Facilities Management mission statement through punctual, regular attendance and reliability.
- Assure the successful operation of the Facilities Management Department
Accepts accountability for compliance with Menninger policies and procedures.
Demonstrates an understanding of developmental tasks and special needs for, and the ability to establish rapport with children, adolescents, adults and older adults / geriatrics.
Complete other duties as requested
Education
High School diploma or equivalent preferred
Experience
One year of experience in institutional housekeeping.
