A. Assessment
- Organize team in contributing input to all Pathfinder treatment plans
- Lead efforts to collaborate with client and program staff in recovery / transitional planning
- Act to ensure team appropriately assess clients’ interests, strengths, and independent living skills in order to help client develop and execute overall goals
B. Interventions
Take lead on program developmentLead team meetings, clinical rounds, discipline meetings, committee and work groups.Supervises and collaborate with the team members, family and collateral personnel in developing a comprehensive discharge plan and aftercare services in conjunction with the patients’ treatment and wellness plan. Responsible for documenting all aftercare services.Represent Pathfinder on program or Clinic marketing effortsRepresent Pathfinder in professional recruitment / hiring activitiesDetermines whether patient be referred to specialized groups of clinical tracksC. Lead team in establishing goals for treatment outcome that are congruent with the identified patient population served and the estimated LOSSupervise delivery of interdisciplinary treatment that achieves its goals and minimizes dysfunctional outcomesTreatments based on established evidence-based practicesOrganize Pathfinder team to work with staff to develop clinical outcome data and other information in order to appropriately adjust and modify treatment paradigmsE. Leads and serves on committees of strategic and operational import to the organization, e.g. Young Adult Service Line DevelopmentParticipates in the recruitment of new Program Managers and assists in mentoring individuals new to clinical leadership at Menninger or program staff as neededF. Works to assure referral and patient / family satisfactionUnder the direction of the Program Director in consultation with the Division Medical Director facilitates transfers and admissionsFlexible regarding cross coverage and patient management when appropriate within limits of safetyG. Fiscal

Perform administrative and committee duties consistent with assigned rolesContribute to program development utilizing rehabilitation evidence based practicesTake lead with Program Director in hiring activitiesEnsure ongoing professional development through in-service training, supervision, workshops, grand rounds, and other educational activities for Pathfinder teamCoaching, mentoring, and / or supervising Resident Assistants as assignedK. Provide Leadership in Crisis Management and Team STEPPS
Reports clients’ safety concerns to Director and other staff members.Oversee team compliance with all established program policies, processes, and procedures.Direct team interventions and support for clients who are in distress.Supervise team in monitoring to provide a continually safe environment.L. Maintain a physical and psychological environment that facilitates the improved functioning of Pathfinder clients .
Maintains and supervises team in professional boundaries and confidences with clients.Models good judgment and appropriate behavior including characteristics such as such as grooming, personal appearance, speech and hygiene.Lead team in effective and therapeutic limit setting with Pathfinder clients.M. Provide input to other Staff Members and participate in all work as assigned
Coaches and give feedback to program staff members in regard to patient care.Attends and actively participates in program staff meetings.Serves as advocate for Pathfinder team.Q. Community Outreach
Represent Menninger at business and community events; conduct tours and / or give presentations. Coordinate site visits for prospective donors.Create and manage productive business relationships with customers, co-workers, staff members, medical staff and senior management.EDUCATION Required :
Completion of an accredited master’s degree program in a mental health discipline such as social work, counseling or marriage and family therapy is required.
License / Certification Required : LCSW, LPC or LMFT in the state of Texas is required.
Must have valid TX driver’s licenseEXPERIENCE
Required : Five years in clinical practice, administration, or supervision.
Extensive knowledge of therapeutic modalities utilized within the program.Ability to effectively direct interdisciplinary teams.Depth of management experience and knowledge in areas of :o Leadership
