Mennonite Home Communities of Ohio is hiring an Assisted Living Coordinator to manage and oversee the care provided to those residing at Maple Crest Assisted Living. This is a salaried role.
Qualifications:
LPN with a minimum of two years’ experience in Assisted Living or Long-term care; minimum of one year of management experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, daily operations supervision, counseling and discipline; demonstration of applied nursing skills in context of health and wellness resident care; knowledge of federal, state and local regulations. Must demonstrate regular and predictable attendance. Must maintain all required licensure and certifications. Must maintain confidentiality and comply with all corporate compliance policies and the code of ethics. Must be available to work some evenings and weekends and be on-call as needed.
Job Duties:
- Supervises and coordinates Elder Assistant tasks (interviewing, hiring, scheduling, issuing corrective actions, evaluating, communicating)
- Oversees medication administration
- Assesses new/prospective elders for residency
- Documents information pertaining to the health of elders (preparing paperwork for appointments, charting, accident and incident forms)
- Identifies and/or orders needed supplies, receives and stocks supplies
- Assists Elder Assistants in serving meals, cleaning, promoting activities
- Drives company vehicle to transport elders
- Other duties as assigned
