Make a difference as a Caregiver - Memory Care Full Time Days
As a Caregiver in our Memory Care unit, you'll play a vital role in enhancing the well-being of residents with dementia while providing compassionate care. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include assisting with hygiene and general care of residents' skin, nails, hair, eyes, ears, mouth, and face, ensuring each individual feels their best. You'll help residents perform activities of daily living (ADLs) such as dressing, bathing, toileting, and grooming, always responding promptly to call lights to maintain their comfort. Monitoring health status and documenting vital signs, fluid, and nutritional intake will be key tasks in providing excellent care.
Plus, you'll support mobility and positioning, ensuring safety devices are used effectively. Your involvement doesn't stop there-you'll also encourage resident participation in activities, create delicious meals, and perform general housekeeping tasks to keep their environment cheerful and inviting.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Be knowledgeable and adhere to a resident's service plans.
- Maintains residents' dignity by providing privacy and confidentiality.
- Effectively engage and communicate with elderly individuals.
- Exhibit patience, tact, and willingness to handle challenging situations.
- Foster positivity and actively engage in daily problem-solving.
- Ability to accurately document activities of daily living.
- Compassionate bedside manner and empathy toward residents
- Must have Heimlich Maneuver training within the first 120 days.
- Understanding of and commitment to residents rights and dignity.
- First aid certification and Food handler's card within first 120 days of employment.
