Summary
Menomonee Falls Preschool Co-Op is seeking a 3K Lead Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Class runs three mornings a week, Tuesdays-Thursdays from 9 : 00am-12 : 00pm. Contract dates : September 2, 2025 - May 22, 2026, following the Board-Approved School Calendar.
Duties
Lesson plan and implement all aspects of the plans
Attend monthly staff meetings
Attend board meetings
Supervising daily activities for classroom
Interact positively with children and parents; develop a rapport
Maintain communication with parents through notes, e-mails, phone calls, face-to-face
conversation and using the BLOOMZ App
Maintain classroom in orderly and clean fashion
Develop “room awareness”, that is to be always aware what is going on in the room
Use a quiet, warm, friendly voice when talking to the children
Supervised by Center Director
Create and follow classroom rules and follow through with any natural consequence for
discipline
Be empathetic, respectful, and encouraging
Any additional responsibilities that are needed to perform the job
The teacher is responsible for holding two parent-teacher conferences per year.
Requirements
At least 18 years of age
High School diploma or GED
Meet training and experience requirements in one of the combinations approved by DCF as stated in the rules book
Possess a certificate from The Registry, at least level 9 or higher, verifying training requirements have been met
Nice To Haves
Experience teaching 3-4 year olds
Benefits
Lead teachers are paid a monthly salary.
Extra duties included in salary : one hour of planning time per session, classroom set-up and take-down, Parent Orientation, Board Meetings, and Teacher meetings.
Extra duties paid separately as outlined in the contract : Lunch Bunch add on (1 / mo), Father's Night (1 / yr), Muffins with Mom (1 / yr), Fun Fridays (4 / yr), other programs outside of work hours (TBD)
Unlimited days off per school year due to personal illness
One personal day is given per year without pay deduction. One unused compensated personal day may be carried over to the next year if available.
Health insurance is not offered at this time. Employees may enroll their own child(ren) at our preschool at a reduced rate.
