The School District of the Menomonie Area is seeking a Production Manager at Menomonie Middle School. This is a 200-day, 8 hours/day (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) position, Monday-Friday to begin as soon as possible. Starting wage is $19.13 per hour. Wages, hours and conditions of employment are in accordance with the School District of the Menomonie Area Employee Handbook.
The successful candidate will manage and assist with coordinating the food service activities for the Menomonie Middle School kitchen. Job responsibilities include ensuring compliance with District, State, and federal requirements regarding nutrition, sanitation, safety and record keeping This position also assists with prepping, cooking, cleaning and any other tasks necessary for successful operations. Must have the ability to manage and coordinate the day-to-day food service operation at the assigned school site. Responsible for ordering all food and supplies for school, adhering to the planned menu, analyzing situations accurately and adopting an effective course of action, meeting schedules and time-lines, operating computer terminals for point of sale, planning and organizing work. Must have the ability to maintain records and prepare reports, communicate effectively both orally and in writing, and work independently with little direction. Must be ServSafe certified or become certified within six months. Prior food service experience is required. Prior food service management is preferred. EOE.
