What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Health Room Assistant position at Menomonie Area School District?
A Student Health Assistant is needed at Menomonie Middle School to work eight (8) hours per day, Monday through Friday from approximately 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m., on days that school is in session (approximately 187 days). The start date will be April 7, 2025 or as close to that date as possible.
Responsibilities include working in the health services office; inventorying and accountability for student medications, treating student illness, injury and basic medical needs, maintaining student health records, communicating with building administration, students, parents and school district nurse. This position involves working with student medical needs, specifically diabetes.
Certification as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), or Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) experience working in a school health room is required.
Starting wage is $21.33 per hour with comprehensive benefits. The posting will remain open until filled with a first review of applications on March 24, 2025. EOE.
