What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Psychologist position at Menomonie Area School District?
The Menomonie School District is seeking a School Psychologist. This position is to begin August 2025. Responsibilities include the ability to administer, interpret and clarify both formal and informal diagnostic evaluations using a multi-level systems approach to assessment; collaborate with school teams to make data-informed decisions and design strategies, services and programs to support students, including mental health options; develop and implement behavioral intervention plans, conduct functional behavioral assessments and facilitate IEP meetings; and have a strong understanding of IDEA law and regulation.
The successful candidate will be student centered, have a passion for working with all students, have excellent communication and organization skills, be able to establish strong rapport with students, parents, colleagues, and building level administration, promote a positive school climate, support all students towards academic, social, behavioral, and emotional success, and have knowledge and experience with PLC’s, RtI and PBIS.
Qualified applicants must hold a valid Wisconsin DPI license (#7062) in School Psychology or have the ability to obtain the license. This position will remain open until filled with first review of applicants to occur on February 3, 2025. EOE.
