We are currently looking for a professional to assist the Deli Manager to meet objectives for sales, margin and our Ends Statement, which is to be central to thriving, healthy communities. The ideal candidate will be a team player with a proven ability to work well with others and will be eager to learn and grow as part of our co-operative. The Deli Captain will provide supervision of daily kitchen operations, ensuring the kitchen delivers high quality products and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Directing daily tasks of deli staff
- Provide appropriate department specific training
- Oversee and assist in daily production of recipes and made-to-order items
- Assist with ordering and receiving products and supplies
- Treat customers and employees with respect.
- Hire and train new employees., as assigned
- Be in charge of kitchen equipment cleanliness and safety.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
