What are the responsibilities and job description for the Volunteer Coordinator (Part-Time) position at MENORAH LIFE?
We are currently seeking a part-time Volunteer Coordinator - 20 hours per week.
As Volunteer Coordination your responsibility includes the administration, planning, development, implementation and evaluation of our volunteer programs to assist in Menorah Life's mission of enhancing the lives of seniors, families, and our community through compassion, innovation and excellence.
In this role you will:
- Recruit, screen, interview, assign, orient, supervise volunteers
- Develop, implement and review procedures for the utilization of volunteer services.
- Work with department directors and administration to build accurate volunteer job descriptions to clarify assignments, requirements and schedules.
- Motivate, support and recognize volunteers on a continual basis.
Ideal Candidate:
- A minimum of one years experience in as a volunteer coordinator in a health care or non-profit setting is preferred.
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency with varied computer applications.
- Organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent follow-up and follow through.
- Desire to be a part of a dedicated team.
