Job Summary and Qualifications

The assistant controller assists the controller with the goals of the department. The assistant controller helps perform month end close duties and subsequent reconciliations. The assistant controller is also to assist in duties related to the Sarbanes Oxley act that governs internal controls. From time to time the assistant controller will be needed to work on special projects including, but not limited to, Medicare Cost Report, Budget Planning, and Unclaimed Property Reporting. In addition the assistant controller supervises the accounts payable and payroll staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting of Business Administration
• 2 years experience in healthcare accounting
