What are the responsibilities and job description for the Multi-Family Property Manager HUD/LIHTC position at Menowitz Management Corp?
We are a national company that owns and operates 40 properties in 10 states. We are seeking a Property Manager for a 136-unit layered (HUD/LIHTC) property in Odessa, TX. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations and ensure the highest level of service to our tenants.
Responsibilities:
- Manage initial certifications, recertifications, move-ins, terminations, and other HUD/LIHTC compliance processes
- Conduct EIV reports and ensure accurate documentation.
- Engage with tenants to collect necessary documents for HUD requirements.
- Assist in preparing for MOR's and REAC's
- Verify income/rent limits and utility allowances to maintain compliance.
- Inspect the property on a regular basis.
- Perform leasing duties to market the property and fill vacancies in a timely manner.
Qualifications:
- 3 years of experience in Project Based Section 8 and LIHTC compliance is essential.
- Strong background in real estate administrative tasks and facilities management.
- 3 years proficiency in OneSite software
- Ability to negotiate effectively and handle sales inquiries professionally.
- Excellent phone etiquette skills for tenant interactions.
- Experience with data entry and attention to detail in documentation.
