What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychosocial Rehabilitation Paraprofessional position at Mental Health Agency?
We are currently hiring paraprofessionals for our day program to assist adults with psychiatric disabilities in enhancing their functioning. The goal is to help them achieve success and satisfaction in their chosen environments with minimal ongoing professional intervention.
Key responsibilities include:
- Service Documentation: Maintain a minimum standard weekly billable service note, detailing the consumer’s intervention, the time spent, the effectiveness of interventions.
- Consumer Rights: Understand and respect consumer rights.
- Program Activities: Follow scheduled activities and program guidelines.
- Training Participation: Attend in-service training sessions
- Consumer Care: Support the care, growth, and development of consumers.
- Skill Development: Assist consumers in building self-help skills (e.g., personal hygiene, grooming, dressing), social skills (e.g., etiquette, forming relationships), and other life skills.
- Educational Activities: Conduct group and individual psychoeducational sessions.
