Are you seeking an opportunity where you can have an impact on your community? Mental Health America of Greenville County is expanding and seeking part-time and full-time Crisis Intervention Specialists to handle their 24/7 crisis lines. 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline via phone, chat and text. Offering support, information and referral, and crisis intervention. These are all on-site positions.
Full-time positions offer 100% paid health, dental, life, and short-term disability.
Shifts available Emphasis on Overnight and Weekend, but potential of day and evening shifts
Part-time positions Max. 24 hours per week
Both full-time and part-time positions are eligible for prorated vacation, sick and holidays.
No experience is necessary. Training is provided.
Requirements
Good listening skills and ability to maintain personal and confidential information
Competence with computer systems, data entry, and databases
Detailed-oriented and self-motivated
Professional phone manner with a clear speaking voice
Both dependable and reliable
Good Teamwork Skills
It's a plus if you have the following:
Previous experience volunteering or working in social services or non-profit fields
Completed some college-level courses
