As the Teen Mental Health First Aid (tMHFA) Program Lead, you will oversee the strategic direction, implementation, and quality assurance of the tMHFA program. This includes developing program strategies, managing resources, ensuring funder expectations are met, and fostering key relationships with partners and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health promotion, youth development, and project management, as well as a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a team toward program excellence. What you’ll do Guide the strategic direction and implementation of tMHFA initiatives by developing effective program strategies, setting clear objectives, managing program budgets, and evaluating program outcomes. Oversee a team of tMHFA contractors, ensuring strong performance and fulfillment of contract deliverables while maintaining high standards and accountability. Focus on enhancing the quality of the tMHFA training experience by gathering feedback from hosts, instructors, and participants, and using this data to drive improvements. Ensure high satisfaction and document findings to share with leadership. Maintain accurate records of program data and progress towards goals, using analytics to drive continuous quality improvement and make data-driven decisions with agency leadership. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including Host Organizations, Host Schools, Instructors, and agency partners. Seek new opportunities to hold tMHFA training sessions aligned with project goals and engage in community outreach efforts. Deliver presentations, attend speaking engagements, and implement community education campaigns to promote awareness of tMHFA and its impact. What you’ll need Bachelor’s degree in Education or related field A minimum of 3 years working in a high school setting as an educator or administrator Preference given to a candidate with 2 years in program / grant management and supervisory experience.
