We are seeking a Psychologist (PhD or PsyD) for an out-patient clinical setting working in behavioral health. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations, including children and individuals with developmental disabilities. This role involves providing therapeutic services, conducting psychological assessments and diagnostic testing. Requirements:
- Doctoral degree in Psychology (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) from an accredited institution
- Licensed by the Behavioral Sciences Board (BSRB) in the State of Kansas
- Must be credentialed to provide independent evaluations, individual psychotherapy therapy, group therapy, family therapy, psychological assessments and testing
- Must be able to pass KBI, Central Registry and DCF screen

Qualifications
- History of working with adolescents and adults in a mental health counseling capacity
- Must demonstrate skill and competence working with individuals, families and groups, utilizing a combination of modalities and treatment approaches such as cognitive, supportive, behavioral and psychodynamic
- Must have good listening skills, verbal skills and written communication skills
- Must have good diagnostic skills and be able to conduct outpatient evaluations and psychological testing
- Must be proficient at basic keyboarding and word-processing skills
Responsibilities
- Conduct competent evaluations, individual psychotherapy, psychological testing, family therapy and case consultations for adolescents, adults and seniors
- Maintain clinical outcomes
- Work cooperatively with other professional staff within the office, in service of the consumer
- Work cooperatively with Insurance Department staff and Treatment Team to assure authorization is in place to provide services
- Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of clients, including those with PTSD, autism, and other developmental disabilities
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Stay informed about advancements in psychology and participate in ongoing professional development
- Provide clinical supervision as needed
