The Mental Health Association of Alameda County (MHAAC) is a well-established non-profit organization with long term staff that assists and advocates for people with mental illness and their family members through programs including the Family Education Resource Center, the Family Partnership Program, and the Patients' Rights Advocacy Program. Together, these programs assist thousands of people with serious mental illness and their family members every year. We envision a world without stigma where people with mental health challenges and their family members are free to live their best lives. MHAAC's current budget is around $7 million.

The Director of Programs will report directly to the Executive Director and CEO and will work closely with all members of the Executive Team. This high-profile position has responsibility to develop collaborative relationships with all agency funders and is expected to have a presence in all Bay area counties in which the agency operates. The Director of Programs will directly supervise all agency programs ensuring excellence and compliance with all contractual obligations while integrating evidence-based practices. The Director of Programs will also serve as the agency's Quality Assurance Director.
This position requires a Masters degree and a minimum of ten years of experience managing human services programs. Additional required experience includes budget, contract management, contract negotiation, and quality assurance experience as well as experience implementing evidence-based practices and managing multiple programs/locations.
Salary : $128,000 - $130,000
