Overview
The CSP Manager oversees all programs and activities under the CSP umbrella at MHAFF, including Helpline Services, Senior Reach Services, community outreach, support groups, CSP Coalition Meetings, and training programs. This role involves staff supervision, participation in the management team, presentations, professional development planning, support group facilitation, and reporting. The CSP Manager ensures service quality, promotes growth, conducts outreach, and fosters partnerships with community organizations while maintaining a recovery-oriented approach emphasizing person-directed planning, self-direction, and hope.
Responsibilities:
- Foster a recovery-oriented, welcoming environment.
- Model commitment to recovery-oriented behaviors.
- Ensure compliance with MHAFF’s Supportive Employer philosophy.
- Oversee the completion of incident reports as required.
- Attend weekly supervision meetings with the Director of Operations.
- Maintain office cleanliness.
- Monitor monthly program budgets with the assistance of the Director of Operations.
- Provide appropriate assistance to community members via phone or walk-ins.
- Review staff timesheets and mileage reimbursement forms for payroll accuracy.
- Conduct interviews and orientation training for new hires.
- Provide program-specific training to staff before independent work.
- Develop and oversee Professional Development Plans for staff.
- Represent MHAFF at internal and external meetings.
- Deliver community training and presentations as assigned.
- Promote MHAFF’s mission and services.
- Provide staff training on assessment tools and scoring.
- Complete mandatory reporting for abuse/neglect/exploitation cases.
- Conduct 90-day reviews for probationary employees.
- Assist with policy and procedure development.
- Communicate effectively with program participants, staff, and community members.
- Attend all mandatory meetings and training sessions.
- Develop a Professional Development Plan with the Director of Operations.
- Provide supervision, leadership, and feedback to staff.
- Identify and implement quality improvement efforts.
- Conduct weekly supervision for Lead Staff Members and CSP Facilitator.
- Complete timely CSP reports.
- Perform relevant assessments, including suicide risk screenings and mental health evaluations.
- Ensure adherence to MHAFF and Helpline policies and procedures.
- Assign and oversee the monthly Helpline staff schedule.
- Facilitate team-building among Helpline staff.
- Conduct monthly onsite monitoring of Helpline staff.
- Ensure adequate Helpline staffing, including emergency coverage.
- Review data entry for accuracy and analyze program data for reporting to the Director of Operations and/or CEO.
- Maintain strict confidentiality in accordance with regulations.
- Document supervision and training meetings per contractual requirements.
- Ensure Support Groups are staffed and provide monitoring as needed.
- Report any changes in clearance or driving status.
- Adhere to corporate compliance policies regarding waste, fraud, and abuse prevention.
- Participate in quarterly All-Staff Meetings, including training facilitation.
- Provide support to staff handling crisis calls.
- Assign tasks to the Helpline Lead Call Specialist and Facilitators.
- Oversee planning and facilitation of CSP events, including quarterly meetings, the Annual Wellness Conference, Art Show, Walk the Walk, and Annual Picnic.
- Act in the best interest of MHAFF at all times.
Qualifications:
- Lived experience with mental health and/or substance use disorder.
- Degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute at the CEO’s discretion.
- Reliable transportation with agency-accepted insurance coverage.
- Familiarity with recovery-oriented systems of care.
- Proven program development and management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supervising staff.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency with computers and data analysis.
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills.
- Public speaking and leadership abilities.
- Familiarity with SNAP Survey Software or willingness to learn.
- Successful completion of background checks (State Police, FBI, Child Abuse Clearances).
- Legal eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Satisfactory driving record.
Additional Considerations:
- Managers may be assigned additional duties, including building maintenance, event attendance, and health fair/tabling events participation.
- Position responsibilities, wages, worksite, and supervision may change as needed.
Work Environment & Physical Demands:
- General office conditions.

Hours & Scheduling:
- Non-exempt, 40 hours per week (80 hours per pay period).
- Paid lunch hour.
- May require weekend and after-hours work.
- Adherence to severe weather policy.
- Helpline operates during holidays and after-hours; the CSP Manager may need to provide support as needed.
- Attendance at Quarterly All-Staff Meetings and program-specific trainings required.
- Weekly supervision sessions with the Director of Operations.

Pay: From $22.00 per hour
