What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intensive Community (In Home) Mental Health Clinician position at Mental Health Association of Monmouth County?
The Mental Health Association of Monmouth County seeks a passionate, qualified mental health therapist. Reporting to the Director of Counseling Services, the in-home/community mental health therapist will play a key role in delivering high-quality psychotherapeutic interventions to youths.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct clinical assessments and psychosocial histories to determine individual and family needs.
· Collaborate with clients and/or families to develop attainable goals and treatment plans.
· Develop crisis safety plans in collaboration with clients and families to ensure their well-being.
· Maintain accurate progress notes and statistics to track client progress and outcomes.
· Assist clients in accessing community resources and support systems.
· Collaborate and consult with other providers to ensure holistic and coordinated care.
· Engage in community outreach activities within Monmouth County to raise awareness of our outpatient program.
· Complete required trainings as necessary to maintain compliance with agency and state regulations.
Qualifications:
· Master's degree in recognized mental health discipline.
· Appropriate licensure or certification, including LCSW, LPC, LSW, or LAC.
