Principal Duties And Responsibilities
- Daily responsibilities will include identifying individuals actively panhandling, who can work for the program, gathering demographic and intake information, and aiming to engage 75% non-duplicated workers each day.
- The Van Driver will additionally provide some oversight and supervision of on-site day labor activities three days out of the business week or as needed for on-call purposes.
- Exeellent organization and time management skills.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current CPR/First aid certification or ability to obtain within 3 months of beginning employment.
- Current and valid Oklahoma driver’s license.
- Good driving record and reliable vehicle with current insurance.
- Excellent oral communication skills; Strong customer service/public relations skills;
- Good organizational skills.
- No environmental hazards are encountered in normal performance of job duties.
- Work requires a flexible work schedule due to internal and external meetings. Travel is required; must have reliable transportation.
- Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 25 pounds.
- Visual and auditory ability to identify and respond to environmental and other hazards related to site and staff behavior.
