Psychiatric Nurses In this position you would obtain, record, and communicate important clinical information, and provide clinical services within a multidisciplinary team environment. Position requires current Colorado LPN licensure.
This is a Full-time position M-F 8am- 5pm

Pay Range & Benefits :
Nurse I (LPN) - $28.96 - $30.46 / hr
Language Differential - $2.50 / hr for bilingual proficiency in Spanish & ASL

Responsibilities & Duties :
- Provide psychological problem identification, crisis interventions, and similar services to assigned consumers.
- Provide limited case management services to consumers as needed.
- Assist consumers with psychological and social development and rehabilitation.
- Coordinate consumer's use of other WellPower programs and outside community resources.
- Coordinate medical care and intervention with other clinical staff and psychiatrist(s).
- Monitor consumer's vital signs.
- Obtain UA's and blood alcohol levels to make referrals to higher levels of care.
- Administer medications including intramuscular medications.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical records consistent with WellPower standards.
- Periodically provide community injections
- Participate in team / organization meetings, in-services, and supervisory sessions as required.
- Maintain a trauma informed environment of wellbeing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications :
Education :
Graduation from accredited school of nursing. Licensed as a Practical Nurse in good standing with the Board of Nursing of the State of Colorado.
Experience :
1-3 years of experience working with consumers with a serious and persistent mental illness preferred.
