Duties Description As a Dentist 2, you would have responsibility, usually under the advisory direction of a higher ranking dentist, for the regular examination, treatment, and complete dental care of patients in a State facility. You may be the only dentist in a very small institution or facility.

Minimum Qualifications A valid license and registration to practice dentistry in New York State AND three years of full-time post licensure dentistry experience, one year of which must have been in a supervisory capacity in a dental health care setting.
