Job Title: QMHP (Qualified Mental Health Professional)
Duties:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the mental health needs of clients
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client goals and needs
- Provide counseling and therapy services to individuals with various mental health concerns, including autism, special needs, gender issues, chronic pain, etc.
- Utilize evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, etc.
- Collect and analyze data to monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and provide comprehensive treatment
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in the field of mental health
- Maintain accurate and confidential client records/documentation
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills in conducting assessments, diagnosing mental health disorders, and developing treatment plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish rapport with clients and collaborate with other professionals
- Proficient in using various therapeutic modalities and techniques based on client needs
- Ability to collect, analyze, and interpret data for treatment planning and evaluation purposes
- Knowledge of coding systems for insurance billing purposes
- Familiarity with clinical research methodologies and ability to stay updated on current research findings
- Understanding of cultural competence and sensitivity when working with diverse populations
