Mental Health/Family Therapist Job Summary
MWRS is a locally owned and operated small business. Our disciplinary practice is seeking a fully Licensed Mental Health Therapist trained in family, coulpes, and/or child/adolescent counseling to join our care team. Our current counseling providers are have a full caseload in the CDA, Ponderay, and Priest River offices and we currently have a substantial waiting list for many individuals and families in the north Idaho community waiting to initiate counseling services.
MWRS has 6 clinicians and 2 nurse practitioners on our team. MWRS has locations in Coeur d Alene, Ponderay, Spirit Lake, and downtown Priest River. We are currently looking to grow our clinical support team in CDA or Ponderay. The position will be a hybrid model with 2-3 days spent in office and remaining days working via tele-health from home.
Applicants should be experienced in one or more modalities, such as structural family, strategic, systems, narrative, transgenerational, or communication therapy. Currently, we are seeking a professional who focuses on family psychoeducation, relationship counseling, blended families, relationship trauma, and family crisis. This position will start part-time two-three days in the office and can become full-time with tele-therapy options as your caseload grows. Benefits are available for full-time employees.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Conduct intake assessments
- Obtain patient history
- Provide individual and family therapy
- Engage in play or art therapy techniques to kids and adolescents
- Provide mental health counseling to teens and young adults
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Document patient progress
This position offers flexibility to choose the hours you want to work. It also offers opportunities to work with your preferred expertise (adolescents, couples, families, and marriage counseling).
Requirements and Qualifications
- Master’s degree in psychology, social work, or behavioral science
- New graduates welcome
- LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT license
- LMSW, LPC, LAMFT license
- Certification in one or more treatment modalities preferred
- Clinical experience (at least one year of post-licensure experience preferred)
- Experience in the use of technology
- Ability to follow HIPAA policies and agency policies
- Ability to conduct confidential virtual therapy sessions from home
Compensation & Benefits:
- Pre-Licensed Pay (LPC/LMSW/LAMFT) : $43 per billable hour
- Clinical License Pay Rate (LCPC/LCSW/LMFT): $47 per billable hour
- Specialty rate for EMDR or Equine Therapy Services $5 per billable hour
