What are the responsibilities and job description for the ESL Instructor - Manufacturing Concepts position at MENTOR INC. DBA PROJECT RIRAL?
The adult ESOL student enrolls in RIRAL’s courses to improve reading, writing, listening, and speaking
skills in order to achieve longer-term goals of finding or improving employment, obtaining a high
school credential, or entering into occupational skills training or college. This position focuses on
equipping ESL learners with the necessary vocabulary, skills, and knowledge related to manufacturing
industries, preparing them for entry-level positions or advanced training in this field.
Key Responsibilities:
● Develop and deliver ESL lessons tailored to manufacturing concepts, including vocabulary,
technical terms, and industry-specific knowledge.
● Design curriculum that covers fundamental manufacturing processes, safety protocols, quality
control procedures, and basic machinery operations.
● Conduct assessments to gauge learners' comprehension and progress in understanding
manufacturing principles and practices.
● Create engaging learning materials such as presentations, worksheets, and hands-on activities
that reinforce manufacturing concepts.
● Provide individualized support and feedback to students to enhance their language proficiency
and understanding of manufacturing information.
● Collaborate with other instructors and stakeholders to integrate language learning with
practical manufacturing skills.

● Ability to collaborate with colleagues individually and as a team
● Skilled in communication and organizational processes
● Proficient in the use of Google Products
● Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree
Qualifications:
At least two years of teaching experience with adult learners preferred.
