What are the responsibilities and job description for the CARES ESY School Age Program Speech and Language Pathologist - Autism Unit - Summer 2025 Only position at Mentor Public Schools?
Stipend: $3,708.32
Dates of Program: June 27 & 30 Staff Training Days -- July 2 - August 1 - 3 days per week (W,TH,F) 16 total work days, 14 days with students; 8:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m./ 5.5 hours/day (NO SCHOOL FRIDAY JULY 4TH)
Qualifications:
- Must have appropriate, valid certification or license to practice speech/language therapy as recognized by the Ohio Department of Education.
- Specific skills in delivery of speech/language therapy services.
- Thorough knowledge, understanding, and appreciation for the nature of working with children with autism.
- Basic minimal skill in use of sign language or finger spelling.
- Possess a scholarly competence in the structure and content of special education programs in addition to related State and Federal policies, procedures, and laws.
