Duties
- Provide direct support to individuals with autism in clinic setting only.
- Implement individualized care plans designed to meet the specific needs of each client.
- Engage clients in social, recreational, and educational activities to promote skill development and socialization.
- Observe and document client progress, behaviors, and any changes in condition.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Requirements
- Knowledge of CPR techniques is beneficial.
- Strong patient observation skills to monitor client behavior and well-being effectively.
- Ability to lift clients safely as needed while adhering to proper lifting techniques.
- Experience in social work or related fields is a plus.
